Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

"The proposed £850 million "St James Quarter" scheme was widely expected to be completed in 2016.
"
What a shame there isn't a huge unused building that has been lying empty for years in the East End that could almost certainly be converted into a shopping centre for less than £850 million.
It's full of asbestos. After 15 years of being empty, I'm not sure it could be economically made safe. The site must be worth more with the development; good for the coal board pensioners if no-one else.
Really? So the whole thing is completely useless, like the Calton Hill monument or the tram? What a gigantic waste.
When we were decanted out to Leith in 95, the value of the building was lower than the land; over the years after that, the price to remove the asbestos and reuse the building, or demolish and rebuild it fluctuated. It was always a bit close, hence nothin happened except the coal board pensioners asset wasnt earning them much.
“
The developers say they are on schedule for the retail part of the site to be completed in October 2020, with the hotels and homes due the following year.
