    The first UK-built mountain bike made out of bamboo has been unveiled at a major cycling exhibition.

    If you are interested in building your own bamboo bicycle you can do so in Edinburgh in June. Just be careful where you leave it if you take it to the zoo... ;-)

    Apparently there was a plan to sell bamboo bikes through the Edinburgh Bike Co-Op, anyone know what happened to that? Raw Bamboo bikes are still being make in Scarborough, although they are not cheap.
