It could just be the effect of the rain causing the oil to spread across the road - but the top of Morrison Street, between Scottish Widows and the EICC appeared to be well covered in oil or diesel. I was behind the No. 2 bus so couldn't see the whole extent of any spill. Assume the wet will wash it away quite quickly, but do take care. The road is very narrow here (previously discussed that the EICC expansion needed the space to park their transit vans behind a hoarding) and the surface isn't good.

P.S. in process of trying to report it, but man I emailed is on annual leave.

Since it'll go into the storm drains and potentially to the WoL, have you tried reporting it directly to SEPA?

Good idea Arrelcat I have done that. Ronald the SEPA man is going to check the sewer maps and if it is likely to be draining into something that isn't treated before it is discharged he will go and investigate.
