    (Apparently)

We are running Dr Bike checkup  and Information clinics focusing on getting commuting cyclists visible and will be giving out hi-viz and lights, between 4-7 on Wedensdays,  26th October, 2nd 9th 16th 23rd of November  at the Junction of Meadow walk and Middle Meadow walk. If you could pass that on to your networks that would be fab!

Hopefully you'll be checking people's handlebars and chainstays for unoccupied light-fitments to try and prevent normally-well-lit people from snaffling free stuff intended for those without.

Plenty ninja cyclists using MMW and then skipping onto pavement and riding up Argyle Place and thence into the Marchmont Ghetto that way. As if that somehow makes it any better.

Do you think you have to turn up like a complete fokwit without lights on a dark night (saw sheepish mountainbiker in currie at 6.30pm tonight completely black - was dark early) or do you think if you come like a belisha beacon they will still give out lights? When they came to my work you had to promise you had never taken the bus but would now for ever before the scratchcards for free bus travel were dispersed
