Not that I noticed, I'm pretty sure you didn't have it inside but I didn't see you locking up.

I didn't see you arrive either I'm afraid :-(. You could always ring PY and ask them to have a quick look outside for you - chances are no-one else has been near there.

One bike length east and the other side of the fence from the police's bike in chdot's picture, but I'm growing more certain that I didn't have it on in the first place based on how easy it was to edge through the front door with the bepannier'd bike and how airy the ride to PY felt. Not that this will stop me steaming home as soon as official lunchtime starts to check.

I don't recall you having a bag with you though I saw your camera on the table yes?
I wouldn't have spotted anything on the grass as you were on other side of t' fence from me...Good luck at lunchtime

If I have left it somewhere my driving license is in the bag pocket for easy owner-locating.

I don't recall you bringing a camera bag in when you were standing at the counter, unless you had already secreted the bag under the table by this point

It'll be at home. I've sufficiently de-paranoided myself now to not be already heading back there. A pity I can't access the security camera footage from the Nicolson Sq. Clydesdale cash machine to provide visual confirmation that I wasn't wearing it when I stopped there.

Call the anti t£rr0r!$m squad and tell them you saw a shifty looking dude with a bag and give them your description, they'll soon get the footage

LOL. WP will then find himself jailed without charge for 8 month but at least he will know where his camera is! :-D

no if he didn't have the bag they won't arrest him and he can rest safe in the knowledge it is at home of course there may have been other bearded dudes with bags there and they get a sunny holiday in Gitmo Bay instead...
besides you'd get all your meals provided for 8 months and as much water up your nose as you can drink!

  16. @wingpig has just tweeted - camerabag is safe and sound at home. I'm not sure whether he's checked if the camera is inside yet or not.

My back in one pic and my bike in another - quite pleasing. Good chat but £2.60 for a cappucino is outwith the parameters. It was a good cappucino and it had a heart design on it.

Think it was useful having PCQ there.

I think it's clear he wants to see more 'education' of cyclists, motorists and fellow policepersons. A programme of carrots - with sticks when it doesn't work.

I'm sure most people on here would welcome that, but...

It's not all down to the police.

They can't really be expected to tell drivers off for being in ASL boxes (for instance) if CEC can't be bothered to re-paint them when they fade - or (more often) get worn away to invisibility!

There are policepersons who cycle (I was riding with one this morning). There are police cyclists. I think what was nice was that PCQ was a police cyclist who cycles. If that makes sense.

Sad I couldn't make it. Though to be fair I would have preferred anywhere else except where I was :-( got called into the hosp 0530 that morning as my dad's condition had worsened and there was no more hope.
Terrible end to a crap week. Devastated.

Next time I'll be there... almost certainly! :-/

Thanks guys, time will heal, just a bit of a rollercoaster having the joy of the marriage seven days before and then that. Kind of up and down just now but I'll get back out on the bike soon and I'm sure that'll help.
Promise to stop depressing everyone soon! (But if you have parents still around then go visit them this weekend and enjoy yourselves!)

Anyway, when's the next caffeine and cinnamon fest?
I may have a be-spiked LHT by then, with extra Cherry bomb brightness and still an airzound for the terminally unobservant, unstoppability in steel lol ;-)
