I'm more than halfway there. I haven't consumed a great enough variety of tea and/or boutique shops, mainly, but I will largely die happy on that account.

It's a bit of a curious advertisment feature.
Apart from no. 1 which suggests swimming in the public water supply (is that allowed?) and no. 2 which suggests shooting people in the Meadows with an air rifle.

All manner of creatures great and small relieve themselves (and even die) in them, so it's hard to see what damage swimming would do :)

RE: number 23, it's amusing to stand opposite AHAHA joke shop and watch the number of people caught out by the cunning "pull" sign on the push door.

A flying lesson over the city would be better than a helicopter flight.

Not sure about Clubbiedean, Glencorse is the public water supply and you are forbidden to swim in it. Thriepmuir and Harlaw are not water supply and it is possible when the blue green algy is not present to swim there, you will need a wet suit as it is freezing

I think quite a few of the reservoirs were put in to feed the North Esk / Water of Leith in days of Mills to ensure a constant water supply for the papermaking industry and are now surplus to requirements other than recreational and aesthetic

You can swim, sail or paddle in any open water in Scotland regardless of whether or not it used used as a water supply. Normal LR(S)A rules apply.

There are regular swim sessions on Threipmuir - organised by the Tri Centre.
