  2. Ooh. What width is the drum at the top? Could do with a drum for practising my Taiko Drumming, but Taiko drums are ridiculously expensive. That said, the skin on a djembe might not put up with the sticks...

    About 14 inches across the top of the drum.

  5. Hah! Now live in a detached bungalow! :P

    (tis great fun - on my second course).

    And fiddlesticks - 14 inches is a bit too wee.

    My friend posted to the facebook last night;

    "Can you believe it? My neighbour rang my doorbell at 2:30AM last night. 2:30AM! Luckily for him I was still up playing my drums"

    @recombo, what capacity is your top box? My old E45 is very much worse for wear these days and the E36 doesn't have room to store a helmet.

    It's a givi monokey. I'll go and check but you can deffo get a helmet in it maybe even 2 helmets. I'll report back.

    Ok you can fit 2 small helmets in it or one large MX helmet and a loaf of bread an 2 pints of milk. I don't have the key but I've go a replacement barrel that I can fit on it. It's in very good condition been sat in a garage unused since 1995. Also have the mounting rack for it. In fact just googled it and it looks like it is an E45.

    @anth Nooooooooo! taiko sticks would make short work of a djembe. Why not try a drumming form with gaps in it? (jk)
