OK I am in a different building for my company today and walking past the bikes in the racks I thought security had been leaving notes for people on their brake cables - tursn out it's a copy of Spokes on every bike.
@Wingpig I believe you are in this building - did you get one? Is this a regular occurrence? Is someone in the building a member of spokes distributing them? Can we get them down at our building too?

I think spokes distributes extra copies. If you're a member you can volunteer to do this, and get extra copies. I'd be surprised if they want the same people leafleted everytime; presumably they want you to become members.

I get it more easier online. I just miss out on the inserts.

@SRD well maybe they don't want me as they have not done my building...

Haven't seen my bike since this morning but I'll update when I go to collect it. I've received at least one in the past eighteen months whilst parked there, about which I had to lightly complain at Spokes as their operative had not taken sufficient care when placing the leaflet.

??? Its a membership organization. of course they want you. You don't even _have_ to pay them the membership fee (I try to help out in kind).

@spitters - I saw the same on the bikes parked on Roseneath at bottom of Marchmont Crescent.

@wingpig - I saw a few stuffed in helmets - so they serve a function as a leaflet repository at least then yes?

I use mine to carry my lights from car park to locker, like a polystyrene basket.

It's more likely that a Spokes member in your building has done the bikes. When I worked at Chesser I would use my spare leaflets to do all the bikes in the bike stand.
