Quite like that as a working title. Anyone fancy a spin out to Tranent on the 27th to watch the Meadowhill round of the Scottish CX season? Get there early and you can walk the course to get a feel for it (and scope out the best places to set up the camera - have plans for remote flash and so on...).

Hmm, so where has Mr "ooh I want to try CX" gone then?

friendly abuseencouragement at himPosted 13 years ago # -
You can shout at me too, I'll easily be spotterable (is this a word??) on the 'David Dickinson' coloured XC.

The ERC annual hillclimb has now changed from Saturday 26th to Sunday 27th. However the location has also changed, it's the hill up to Fa'side castle from Salter's Road.
Off is at 11AM and it's limited to 60 riders so will be completed by 12.
I then intend to ride on to Meadowmill for spectating the CX.
I don't know if anyone would be interested in spectating the hillclimb? If not I can see anyone who goes to the CX there and could join for return ride. Fa'side is about a mile and a half to Meadowmill. It's downhill from Fa'side or uphill to it!

Went along to Meadowmill after the hill climb. Plus a cuppa tea was on offer and it was a tailwind assisted ride from Fa'Side.

D'oh, forgot about this. Nice day for it though. Have you taken lots of the same rider or are they all just wearing the same?

@Min I focussed on taking shots of the ERC riders (one of whom is in black, must have had mud on his club kit!) and I've only bothered to put these ones up for the club website

The national (Scottish) champs are next Sunday at the Auchentoshan Centre, just outside Clydebank on western outskirts of Glasgow.
In 2 minds about paying a visit - train to GQS and then pick up national route 7 along the Clyde pretty much all the way there (5 or 6 miles).

Yes, after missing this one I was pondering the Scottish champs...
