One of Edinburgh’s most beautiful hidden treasures will open its gates to the public for a winter wonderland event on Sunday, 4 December.
The SAMH Redhall Walled Garden, on the banks of the Water of Leith in Colinton Dell, was the kitchen garden for Redhall House.
Now a mental health charity service, the garden will be offering a “Spot the Snowman” trail for children, as well as the chance to make a snow globe.

I can and do recommend the Redhall Walled Garden open days, I have been and enjoyed the time spent there. It is a really lovely garden and the people that help out are very nice and friendly. The open day I went to was in summer so the garden was in full bloom, and the activities that are laid on are stimulating and interesting.
