Ok, maybe the wrong part of the forum, but here goes...
My partner and I will be attending a 1910 themed Guide camp next year as part of the Guiding Centenery celebrations, so as I tried to sort out clothes that could more or less look "period" I started to wonder, what sort of bicycles did people ride in 1910? How hard are they to get hold of? What did people wear to ride them etc.
I don't expect to get one, I'm just naturally curious (some would say nosey!) :-)
Anyone know?

Not fundamentally different from today. The safety bike was introduced in 1885 by Starley. Chain drive to the rear wheel through a step up gearing system, front wheel steering and a similar sort of frame were already there well before 1910.
The current photo on Copenhagenize is from 1915:
Men's dress hasn't changed a lot but women on a bike had "rational dress" which caused riots and the bicycle was a major factor in women's liberation, or whatever they called it back then.

Hmmm so a Dutch style bike wouldn't be too far off the mark then? Rod type brakes I assume?

Well I had to check the web for brakes info but according to this page:
http://www.sturmey-archerheritage.com/history.php
SA had a coaster brake in 1907. Rod brakes will be hard to get hold of. A place you might want to try is the Common Wheel in Glasgow:

They keep some old machines for theatrical use.

I believe this was the Specialized Roubaix of 1926
