LBP raids yesterday morning

    Lothina & Borders Police raided proerties yesterday morning Operation Accessible to arrest theives and burglers, and in order to recover stolen property.

    They have now published a short list of items recovered on their website. It includes bikes.

    Please pass on to anyone you know you may have been affected by theives or burglers in the recent past.

    Interesting how it mainly seems to be MTBs that the average thief takes. I suppose they are easier to sell for 50 quid round the back of a windowless pub somewhere...

    I was once told by a police chappy that the biggest anti-theft deterrent you could have on a bike was drop handlebars. Not sure how true that is, but there you go...
