    I'm having a clear out of extraneous 'stuff', which includes bike goodies that might (probably won't!) interest people here:

    - turbo trainer (Elite Crono Fluid ElastoGel) - used a bit to keep me in shape for PBP last winter, but basically as good as new

    - Garmin Edge 705 GPS cyclowondercomputer (it's new from Garmin and never used, as a warranty replacement) - includes new cadence sensor and will throw in a used HR strap

    - Planet X 82mm carbon tubular race wheels (very low mileage, and including £££ Vittoria Corsa Evo tyres, and a spare).

    Once I get on to clearing out the bike cupboard there'll be a lot more to get rid of, but these three are the big ones.

    Dave - try listing the wheels on ERC "for sale" forum. It's the sort of thing people will want for next season for crits and TTs and the sort and may justify as Christmas present. You could name a price or get sensible offers. Also means no posting as sale will be local. You'll probably be able to sell the others pretty quickly through same channel, sort of things people always looking for or for presents too. This sort of thing definitely appeals to road club types.

    Good idea. I think actually I may have an account from when I used to ride with the club, so I'll try and dig that out!

    Bliminy. That computer is indeed shiny. I can't justify the cost even second-hand, so I'll just say oooooooh.
