    Can't they just leave it alone? Porty is fine as it is, why do they have to market the hell out of everything?

    I agree crowriver, it is great - but it is very quiet in off periods, so presumably this is designed to attract non-regulars. They dont want businesses to close or it will just look even more shabby.

    I like the idea of some classic 30s style seaside posters. But PUHLEASE! Call it "Portobello", not "Edinburgh's Seaside"!

    Funny - I was along the prom on Monday last week. It was a beautiful (if cold) day, and I was just thinking it's such a waste that it is too often overlooked.
