What a roaster today! First time commuting on road bike for some time and also went long way coming into to town along the now ice free Innocent. Clothing: long sleeve autumn weight top, mitts and summer shorts.
Nice!
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Nice!
Yeah, just had a t-shirt on underneath my cycling jacket and it was way too warm!
I'm dreeeeeaaaaming of a wet Christmas....
Need to start checking the weather again.... Too much wool!
Think this is unusual too -
Yes, very balmy isn't it?
Other weather apps are available :)

walked / train-ed today as going straight to Glesca after work. Felt warm in just a summer jacket, a christmas jumper and a t-shirt.
Jeans and shoes too.
Did not bother wearing a jacket while zipping round the shops in town on the Raleigh Pioneer. It's like a Scottish summer out there!

Oh no it isn't. It's not raining.
Actually I felt a few drops of moisture descend around 5pm, more of a mist like substance than rain. Or maybe I just imagined it, as it soon disappeared.
Fantastic weather, rain or not! Running down the Lanark Road at 30-something, in still air, with the wind behind me! Coming back up the hill tonight, the wind - plenty of it - was cool, not freezing. Clothing both ways, cycle shorts, hi-viz jacket over a t-shirt. Usually I have to really push it to keep warm but tonight I could just pootle along. What wonderful weather we're having!
Hey Tom, How did you get the screen grab of the Android screen?
Too windy for me this morning, took the bus, and now I've brought my towel home for a Christmas wash I have no way to dry myself if I cycle in tomorrow.
"What wonderful weather we're having!"

Hold down the home button and then press the on/off button.
"Hold down the home button and then press the on/off button."
That's the IPhone way - but seems not for all Android soft/hardware.
Yay works for my Samsung GSII
Nice and warm again. So nice that I didn't mind it when my Gatorskins Hardshells finally gave into the fairy. However, it was a bit annoying when a dog p**d on my bag. And it would have been nice if one of the several cyclists that passed me (on the Innocent) had acknowledged my presence (I am a country boy).
Hope it's still warm for the return.
I found the temperature pleasant but the wind tiresome to my poor wee Seat-abused legs. As long as it doesn't turn round by the time I go home I'll not grumble further.
I enjoyed the couple of windless days that we had and particulary liked the fact that the muddy bits of my commute were frozen. Now it seems that we're back to the usual nonsense. I don't mind if it's cold!
"And it would have been nice if one of the several cyclists that passed me"
My usual shout to such a sight is "y'alright mate?" but I wasn't on the Innocent...
Headwind was annoying. Coupled with heavier than usual bag (eBay stuff and still on the X, will be servicing the Kaff tonight); and not having breakfast = my legs are not my own.
I like if it is warm because, without the concern of ice, I can take longer routes to work. I will live with the wind as long as it's not too strong.
I can see that I will need to wash my pannier when I get home - a bit smelly! Hope no one comes into my office!
too warm for me. also bad jacket choice on my part.
Need to start checking the weather again.... Too much wool!
"However, it was a bit annoying when a dog p**d on my bag"
<counts the asterisks...> Phew.
I think my annoyance level would have been more than "a bit"!
Amir do you mean p**d or p****d?
It's like Blankety Blank! Clue - liquid.
Another reason why dogs should be kept under control on public paths.
Very blustry crossing the FRB this morning. A van with flashing lights wanted to overtake but I made it undertake as I feared one strong gust would push me against the rail and over into the forth.
Then on land the wind wasn't too bad. I also expected rain as the beeb forcast it from about 05.00 so a dry run in was very welcomed. Hope its still dry (or blown over) by the time I head for home.
