Q for our resident roadies, Are the UCI completely disconnected from reality or does it just look that way from the outside? :-s

Not just about saddles - look at the bottle rule.
Bottles have been increasingly moving away from their original function of allowing riders to rehydrate towards an alternative use as aerodynamic elements which are integrated into the design of frames in order to improve riders' performances.
The rule specifies the bottle dimensions in order to avoid empty bottles being added for aerodynamic reasons.Posted 12 years ago #
