  5. Oooh, GWS to mini-SRD!

(I think I saw Mr SRD at the farmers marker on Saturday, but couldn't be sure enough to say hi, so if I walked past and looked like I blanked him... sorry!)

  6. @thebikechain - since you're in... Do you have any of the white Vavert 'guards that will fit over 32 tyres in stock? Still convinced there will be snow on the way at some point, at which time the X will become transport of choice - but need 'guards for that, and got CX tyres on.

    Spodding during the holidays (waves).

Incidentally, I appear to have annoyed "Incandescent" on the Evening News forums to the point where he's gone searching and found my alt fule head thread. If he appears on here then my apologies in advance :-o :-/

The one about the possible car ban in the old town, http://www.scotsman.com/edinburgh-evening-news/transport/motorists_facing_old_town_ban_under_latest_city_plans_1_1991403 I've been answering him back and refusing to let him get the last word in and it seems to have really wound him up. He seems to reckon I'm a bully now! (as well as self obsessed for daring to challenge him)

SRD - hope little one gets better ASAP.

Smudge - I love it, best EEN thread ever!

anth - I'm luxuriating in unaccustomed peace and quiet at home, sorry.

@Morningsider, thanks B-) it's hard to judge sometimes if descending to the level of EN commentators is counter-productive or not :-/
Too tempting not to wind him up though :-)

@tbc -- ordered - the Surly LHT. Thanks.

  19. Still debating the Surly Pacer with myself. It's just not quite as perfect as the Velo Orange frame I'd been considering for Mel, but it's a bit cheaper...

Ohhh that's you is it. I am terrible with the user name and real name thing.

BOSH! We will of course administer the usual CCE love to the price of the frame when it appears.

Anth... Pacers are cheap at mo... what size?

@Inst, good choice that man! B-) If you want a look at mine anytime let me know :-)

@Anth/TBC Hmmm bulk discount on Pacer frame....? I'm very tempted by a silver one the same size as my LHT.... we may have to chat deals!
