Out and about today, spotted this raleigh steel frame effort languishing in Lauriston Gardens (next to all the recycling bins, back entrance to St Thomas school/Chapel).

Its longer wheelbase than my SS, otherwise I might have considered it, but I reckon its approx 53cm BB-top of seat tube.

Soul cycles has one similar (popped in for a look, nice guy on duty) but with the old style friction gear shifters on down tube.

What's the betting the seat post is rusted into place? If no takers here, maybe drop it off at the Bike Station? I'm sure they could make good use of it.

It's my size too, but I just have too many 'projects' in the garage right now...

I always carry my tools with me so might inspect the shifters and rear brake if I pass that way this evening.

Looks like one that was done at Dave's bike shop some 15 years ago where I used to work We did a lot back then Happy Hybrids we called them. Things haven't changed much. Am still knocking them out at Soul Cycles. Thanks for the nice comments. We always try and please the customers

To the OP What happened to the bike?

    Sorry for delay - work........

I popped by a few days later and it was gone - not sure if picked up as a project or scrapped.

Hope the former if it was not too knackered.
