    Hello

Are any of you able to oblige in finding me a Dane who lives in the Scottish Central Belt & who likes cycling? [At least I'm being specific!]

It's for a media enquiry I've had around Wednesday's demo. I imagine they'd have to be available to be interviewed tomorrow (Tuesday) or Wednesday for radio / maybe TV.

    cheers
    Colin

OK- time to get my Danish drama plug in...!

    BBC FOUR - BORGEN

The Moderate Party leader cycles of course - along with her children. I think it's pretty good - and not just for the occasional sight of Kobenhavn with lots of bikes.

Still an amazing amount of cars there though - despite the bike lanes.

Ok , not exactly what your looking for, but, I am a civilian instructor with the grangemouth air cadets, we are big into biking, and are securing funding for all sorts of training and stuff. We are also, hopefully taking our kids to Denmark later this year,(to do a memorial wreath laying thing, Macroberts Reply ?)so should be interesting to note the cadets views on cycling in this country in comparison to here .

The Dane-hunt can now be called off (as one has been snared).

Danish Institute Edinburgh was my other suggestion.

They sponsored Dreams on Wheels a while back and would be happy to help I'm sure

    But what about the Dutch?

Or have you covered them elsewhere?

You have to realise the huge rivalry between Amsterdam and Copenhagen...

This may be of interest. I couldn't find my last post on this using 'search'.

    Apparently Borgen is popular here.

Having cycled round Copenhagen and Roskilde - hats off to the Danes, they've got it all going on.

Borgen I find a bit drab but Lars Von Trier's Kingdom and The Boss Of It All, that's the Dansk ticket

Think we have some Danes coming on a study visit / holiday. They do the thing they are coming to see better than us anyway but always nice to get out and about

All Borgen Filmhouse screenings are sold out..

o_O. Thanks for the other Dansk recommendations.

We had fun time chatting to the Danes from Copenhagen Tech College about The Bridge, Killing etc when they were over last year.
