Very cold this morning. Remember folks, it's a windscreen though, not a porthole, clear your screeen of frost before driving off.

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

I take this to extremes when clearing the car for Mel. Windscreen, all side windows AND lights. Back screen has usually cleared by that time.
I just let the pedestrians and cyclists clear mine as they slide off the bonnet .
@recombodna - the schoolkids' fleece jackets particularly handy?
;-)
Advice for drivers...........Cycle; do you all the world of good!!
Hee, hee PALI
More advice to drivers, calm down (you impatient blankety blanks)
Funny they mentioned this and I saw the tweet which reminded me of this tale.
20 years ago I lived in Leeds with my folks. Dad and me would meet my uncle in the local pub Sunday evening being droopped off and collected by mum. I recall one winter my uncles mate decribing driving to work in his Yorkshire Electricity Board van and giving a lift to his neighbour whose car would not start. He'd cleared a port hole in the windscreen and drove to work dropping his neighbour off at a Police station on the ay. It was only then that it dawned on him his eighbour was a policeman.... Suppose getting a lift as enough for the officer and he prefered that to offending his neighbour who was getting him to work.
