I see the quality of comments are up to the usual standard:
fresian: "So the eco nazi cycling lobby think it should be compulsory? Whatever happened to freedom of choice??"
Ron D: "Will the schools be liable when the kids are killed by cars?"
Big Fi: "They can do what they like, just keep them of the roads."Posted 15 years ago # -
Come on! That's a very selective reading. When I posted it, there were 3 comments, and one of them was nicely pro-cycling. And there have been a number more too. Some of which sound oddly familiar....but hitting the EEN's comments 'tone' rather nicely.

Selective?? When I posted there were only six comments and only one was anywhere near pro cycling.
Road Raga: "#1 better that than a nation of obese brats, barely able to waddle to the bus stop let alone cycle, as we seem to be heading towards (half way there already!)."
There are more comments now some of which are balanced, but the vain of hate is still there.

Or we could take the CBI's approach and use of US-style yellow school buses to cut school-run congestion, then spend more money on heath care as the population becomes fatter and less healthy.
