My thoughts turned to cleaning after I realised the folly of buying a white bike in the winter. Ever since the knowledgable people on here introduced me to "baby wipes" my bike only sees water when it rains!

Thanks Insto. I use Muc Off so I'll have a look if I can get into Edinburgh this week. I've got £60 in John Lewis vouchers burning a hole in my pocket. Stove top espresso maker perhaps.
