Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

This is why http://local.stv.tv/edinburgh/news/296464-body-discovered-in-viaduct-in-edinburgh/
Now open again.
urp. had a lovely cycle to wester hailes quarry park late yesterday afternoon....
guy who squeezed through gillespies on amber then appeared behind me at Slateford as had been turned back. Spotted the forensic people in WoL Visitor Centre. Sadly, not the first time.
I am not quite clear about this when they say he was found at the bottom of the viaduct does this mean he was a "jumper" or was he found at the bottom under the water? If a "jumper" absolutely no chance of surviving, it gives me vertigo looking down, it is such a long drop.
Liz, exactly what I was wondering. I first took it to be 'drowned' but then re-read and realised it could mean 'jumped'. sad either way, but would be nice if reporting was clearer!
THey don't normally report at all. Similar to the Forth Road Bridge. Implication is sadly that the person has jumped.
