Remains to be seen if the fancy plating on the PC991 will actually help with the sea air, but worth a shot.

I've had a 991 on the racer for the last 12 months and its still in great nick, going to order another just now though and replace it when the weather improves.
Despite the other two bikes in the stable supposedly being more "rugged" (a single speed and a trail mtb) the racer does the lions share of the work and sinks the least time.
