    I borrowed the demo Paper Bicycle from Laid Back Bikes for some commuter and utility action this week, took a bunch of snaps and have rambled on at length about my impressions.

    Should you need to kill a few minutes and have always wondered what I look like in my choice of cycling attire...

    Apologies for the length (a trending theme), but I had a particular number of pics, so thought I should pad them out with words ;-)

    It's a lovely looking bike but doesn't it really want to use that hole at the front to support a rack of some description?

    The big shed at The Bike Station has a dozen or so in the back as part of their Better Way to Work scheme - also some Bromptons.

    I was there looking at a vintage bike, but spent more time looking at the Paper Bikes !

    Not sure how much funding they have for BW2W now though.

    Hey Dave, there's a lot more to life than being really really ridiculously good looking you know. ;-)

    The corner scuffing sounds a bit scary but it otherwise sounds like a very practical town bike.

    Oh yeah, I think I want one for pooling around town to meetings. I wonder if I could get away with buying one for "the office".

    Just heard that PB are welding rear racks this week with a first batch due very soon. It is possible to have a front rack too. Hole though is not used as support. Rear rack uses the frame to secure into.

    @Smudge

    Don't worry, I've got one.

    I'm not after a PB, but suspect some potential customers would like some sort of rear rack.

    (Though perhaps LB answered my question before I asked it... I was just reacting to Flickr pic.)

    Having ridden the single speed demo version at Laid Back Bikes I have a serious case of 'I need a paperbike but I'm not sure what for'-itis. Fortunately I think I've persuaded my Mum she wants to buy herself one for her birthday so I can at least go and visit one.

    So far I've failed to ground any of the low trailers, they seem ok with speed bumps. I call them the Elephant trailer.

    The Bike Station have a few of those Paper Bikes for sale that they used to hire out. They'll be in pretty good nick and cheaper than buying new. Pop along on Saturday morning (when they have their bike sales) if you fancy one.
