For horses apparently (four of them).
Any parts suitable/good for cycling?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Using the link to buy from Amazon will send a small amount to CCE towards the running costs.

I only know the Vogrie Trail in its entirety. You would need a mountain bike for the road surface around Blinkbonny.
On a road bike I would keep away from Southside and Blinkbonny and extend the section from Crichton westwards to North Middleton and the Lady Brae in Gorebridge. The road back over to Edinburgh via the Camp Wood and D'Arcy House is very picturesque. And there's a unique farm chimney or two in the area.
B****y horse riders. Maybe if they paid road tax on their horses they would be entitled to all this expensive infrastructure.
