On Saturday 24th April there will be another big Nearly New Sale raising funds for Polwarth and Scottish Association for Children with Heart Disorders. Our usual website is down, but there's more info at http://www.calculatorsoftware.co.uk/nearlynewsale/
The sale runs from 11-1, if you have things you really need, I recommend getting in the queue around 10.30, otherwise, there's always still lots of stuff when the rush subsides around 12! While there is a lot of new baby stuff and clothes for toddlers and bigger kids in the Hall, the Church itself is always full of toys and bikes and buggies outside.
Also, teas, coffees and home-baking! (Lothian bus numbers 10 and 27 stop right outside the church, while the 38 stops a block further down, it's also a short walk from the Slateford road buses: 44, 34, 35). Lots of bike parking on garden railings, just off the canal, access at Harrison Rd bridge.
