It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

resolvedI wonder whether any kind CCE'er would be willing to loan out a pair of panniers for the upcoming long weekend (6-9th Apr)?
Following last weekend's jaunt around Mull and Loch Linnhe, we're doing another trip with friends over Easter and I don't think we can get away with each having one of my current panniers, we'll need two pairs.
Not very eco (or wallet!) friendly to buy panniers for just one ride...

You can have mine. I'll be in Rome. I can do you a full set of EBC bags - front and back, bar bag and rack top bag.
Excellent, thanks! A rear pair and maybe a rack top would be perfect (neither of us have front racks).
just mind how you go piling all the weight on the back when it comes to the inevitable uphills!
A set of low rider racks for the front forks can be had quite cheaply. Worth considering unless you are travelling very light.
We're not camping or anything, so I reckon we'll be OK. It's just too much of a squeeze to put a few days of stuff in one pannier each :)
If that offer falls through, let me know. I appear to have "grown" a spare set of panniers.....
