Not impressive. What's wrong with having a national team kit vaguely identifiable as British rather than an insipid generic set of kit. I mean look at it, it looks like some non-team kit you might find on the budget rail at any local bike shop. Imho!

Can they not combine the technologies used in Lycra production with those used to create those giant signs used to swathe scaffoldings to make them look like the building underneath and avoid the whole colours-of-flags thing? Outfits could be designed to look like a tweed suit, or the plumage/pelt of a native species of bird/animal. Hedgehogs would work well, whizzing round a track with their wee legs pumping.

The athletes get nice red shoes but not the cyclists?

Chris Hoy is going to struggle racing a geared bike indoors. He has a bottle cage and the steerer hasn't been trimmed. Is that a pump attached to the seat tube?

    "Or Scottish flag"

Stella must have enjoyed her childhood in the Mull of Kintyre.

There wasn't much red in the Beijing Olympics kit, but that was way classier IMHO

Still, it's WAY better than the god-awful British Cycling kit, which is just a mess.

Does anyone else remember what Twiki used to say when Wilma from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century was around?

    That.

Oh, and Victoria Pendeleton isn't bad either.

I like the last one, maybe not ideal close up but looks great on the track.
