Noticeable increase in traffic

I thought you meant on the roads - which were dreadful yesterday! (although perhaps seemed worse from inside of bus -- didn't fancy trailing waterproofs round the big fancy buildings in the City Centre that I don't usually visit)

I thought that too (roads not web traffic)
I couldn't see the roads from the bus windows being so steamed up

Presumably lim(x→∞) f(x) = 404, where x = number of visitors per day. The example above where f(x) has reached only 403.9 is therefore a fairly mild case of the desired webpage being unavailable to the client.

@CHDOT: Try Google Analytics - after that's been implemented, you get a wealth of information about where different people are coming in from, how many new people you're getting every day/week/month, from which country, using what search terms, links etc...

I like to spread the word, and tell people about this forum at every opportunity... as you say, stuck indoors, as it is rather tricky cycling at present!
