I have pictortal evedence of snow in Fairmilehead. But I (wisely) chose the bus this morning. I took my towel home lastnight fopr washing so really glad I got up for the bus. Anyone know what the weather is like for the rest of the week?

Sounds like a scene from a 70s X-rated comedy

@DaveC
I'll be doing my usual airport -> Edinburgh trip and there's space in the car if you fancy a lift. At least then it's only 25 minutes of soaking rather than the full hour.Posted 12 years ago # -
Oh! I have been to the Flat Cat - though it was by car (we had done a cross-country run though, so it wasn't totally lazy...) Nice place. Feels like quite a long way for a cycle though...

got soaked cycling in this morning (0330)
going home,I decided to swing by Decathlon for some waterproof gloves and new overshoes(my old ones are in bits)
sadly no overshoes over a tight size 8.
waterproof gloves helped,though they have a freakishly large thumb!Posted 12 years ago # -

I've now experienced 'bent belly and bum - cycling with the kids to Fountainpark around 13:00, the hired Fuego had a puddle for a seat at the start, and then I got so wet that the puddle migrated to my lap and poured in through the jacket pockets...
I also experienced the fact that one can't keep your head down out of the rain when you're on a recumbent...
All made up for on the downhill roll home - the Fuego just loves those!

somehow on saturday i lost one of my heavy winter cycling gloves from under the buggy (didn't want to take them, but couldn't find others). could've been anywhere from cramond onwards. very peeved. but then my wonderful girl found it this afternoon while on the way to the park and brought it home to me.

BehoovingMoving:The concept of "home" must surely be weakened by driving. Home is just so much warmer and dryer for cyclists http://t.co/JJCKBdMB
