CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

is adding the electronic tagging worth doing @£16 vs just registration & UV marking @£5?
@custard - I'd say "no". The tag appears to be only readable if there is direct line of sight from the reader to the tag. So it needs to be in the "usual" place for a police officer to find, i.e. the "usual" place for thieves to check before removing it...
I've popped one in the Pino, but somewhere unusual, so it won't be found by chance, instead it'll only be useful for me to prove it's mine!

well i didint make it today. $!*! day at work and the weather was turning.
so went straight home
There are also Spokes maps for £4 (usually £5.95) and Pedal on Parliament flyers...
Robert

left the bike at work
The Lothian Buses' cyclist from their recent video was at George Square, along with his bus.
I think that was present for a photo opportunity this time, as LB are sponsoring the events.

Anyone know whereabouts in KB that is?
Usually I am not in on Thursdays but I have an Easter from my consulting duties.
You found it yet?
Getting warmer there -

Not been out yet. Apparently some bikes were stolen over last weekend in our super-duper new bike sheds. Methinks more security required.
Found - includes Bike Station bike dr.
Didn't take my bike as quite a hassle to get my bike from the shed to the event - lots of building work. It also more the other bikes that I should register.

Busiest #streetsahead event yet! Unfortunately due to high demand, we've no bike marking kits left and Dr Bike is fully booked for today.
