Perhaps the most pointless thread ever, but thinking at this morning's commute, I really can't find a single non-natural thing to whinge about!

No misbehaved cars. No annoying traffic lights. No pedestrians stepping blindly out onto the road engrossed in their iphones. No new and unexpected potholes. No dogs off the leash wanting a sniff at my wheels.

Just uneventful and boring. Like it should be?

    Oops - "non natural"

I did have someone cycling in front of me at just a little too slow for me this morning so I was forced to compete a little.

Consider the entire day as a single datum. Even if it gets to midnight and you still remain unthreatened and unsniffed it probably just means it's anomalous and should be disregarded.

I didn't have to glower or shout at anything but still had some passes which were closer than they could have been and saw other people being toyed with.

Passed a lady going at little slower than me whilst trying to appear non competitive or threatening had to stop pedalling though as my cadence made me look like a cartoon character as I approached her...

I love school holidays, it's like being 7 all over again.

I did my commute 2 hours earlier than usual. It was quiet and lovely. Although a guy in shorts and with a mean streak a mile wide (joking I'm sure he's lovely) FLew past me at some traffic lights as they went green (I was day dreaming) and cycled like a beast all the way down Lothian Road. Only reason I mention it is because he must have been pushing a cadence of +160 Never seen anyones legs flying around so fast!
