  1. I'll not bore you with too many...

We saw Golden Eagles on every day of the trip save the last when we were travelling home. Fab birds, we got pretty close to this one, then realised it had actually landed on its nest (saw the back of the mate, and he was delivering nest material). Which means I had to stop photographing since it's against the law to photograph certain birds on or near their nests if you know it's at their nest...

Made the right decision taking the cross bike. Great fun.

Finally saw the main Callanish stones (there are 14 sites) in sunlight. Last year (in June) it was grey and manky.

Beach Bay Cottage, our hobbit hole for the week. Stunning location, stunning place to stay.

Only bikes in 2 out of 7 pix.

I'll have to consult the rules...

Lovely - I cycled past that cottage when cycling in Lewis a few years back and thought "Wow - I'd love to stay in that" incredible.
Callanish is brilliant too - much better than stonehenge, you can get up to it and touch it/pose with bikes
Very jealous hope you feel relaxed!
