Might as well have a thread for it?
Shall we concoct a plan with plenty of notice so we can put it on the tweeternet and see if it expands?
I guess at the minute it's Spytfire and his Tiger Moths, SRD and the SRDlings, me and my sister?
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Well now, I'm looking for a place to bring a car-load of Fifers, including a child trailer and unfeasibly heavy comedy Dutch bike (with Tweed hat) for a pootle along to the Meadows. Something en masse from the Shandon area would be good.
What Instograph said!
I was going to confer with some non-CCE HP folk and then make a proposal. There are lots of families, plus some more experienced riders, with lots of experience of group rides.
But, provisionally, do we want to meet at 1.30 at HPW, near canal access?
Other option would be to meet in Polwarth church grounds, which would have two advantages: (1) we'd avoid crossing Harrison road and the intersection, with no turns until Leven St, and (2) I can look into getting a key for the church, so that we can use the loos (possibly helpful for those coming from away).
What's HPW? Otherwise I'll just go where I'm telt.
Harrison Park West, between Harrison Road and Ogilvie Terrace, and next to Zazou.
Near a coffee venue sounds ideal.
Okay, if that's what you guys think is best, I'm happy to go with consensus. we'll need to think a bit about getting out onto the road though - it is not straightforward at all from there, given parking etc on Harrison Road.
FORTUNATELY -
Sat 28 12:30 A Dundee United SPL
A = 'should be room to park'!
No Hibs match either.
I may join you from Harrison park, may have the lady but I think he's too young to be cooped up in the seat for longish times so I'm not sure wether to bring him.
He could join my wee lass in the trailer. She'd love the company.
@SRD
If the 'safety in numbers' theory is true then we just barge out onto the road, forcing cars to stop. Works.
Steveo etc, planning to have my trailer too. plus various seats. all welcome to use any spare seats.
Another Harrison Park dweller here. I'll meet wherever you decide.
Edinburgh's win yesterday means they play the semi-final on the 28th but kick-off isn't until 1745. Phew!
I guess my cludgie will be closest to the meeting point, so, serial killers, kleptomaniacs, vandals and contagiously diseased people excepted, we can use that.
