    Kryptoflex hack

Sometimes in order to ensure your loads make it home over Edinburgh's 'entertaining' road surfaces, a little lateral thinking and ingenuity is required :P

This came about more because of a spatial thinking fail, the cake was too big to fit in my panniers and too big to sit safely in my basket. I had planned to just walk the bike home but in starting to wrap my kryptoflex cable up I had a lightbulb moment. I took the cable and looped it through itself around the handle on my basket. I then wrapped the cable around and under my basket and secured it to itself using the velcro designed to keep the cable tidy when not in use. The cake made it all the way home, even over the cobbles near my house!

Nope. I used to carry some but they have all mysteriously vanished. I suspect to the same place that pens and left socks go to.

Ahhh, the Romans had those and they wore them with sandals.
