Aiming to post something up about Pedal on Parly in next few days - any plans for a Porty start point?

No.1 son and I will be heading from his Saturday class in Portobello. May have to pick up partner and daughter on the way though - perhaps I'll persuade them to be in Porty with us to keep things simple and safer...

  5. Thanks for that wangi (I could have sworn I'd registered on TalkPorty before (generally a very entertaining read of threads), but can't for the life of me remember with what username).

I'd normally join the Porty ride in (as it passed Duddingston) but will be there with a megaphone. They've promised me a megaphone anyway.

Saw reference on the PPAG thread to PoP posters at the weekend - I'm assuming these are posters for Pedal on Parliament? If you've already got some that's grand - if not I'm printing and laminating at home in the evenings and can easily deliver.

    I can't beat a megaphone!

Email me the email address and I can hunt the account down.

It'll be the "drop the appeal" posters re the new Porty High we'll have been talking about. "PoP" (Pal of Porty) is one of the regular users ;) http://forum.talkporty.org/viewtopic.php?p=92125#p92125

  7. Aha, gotcha!

If I have registered it'll be under anth@citycycling.co.uk - like I say, I'm pretty sure I have, but could be misremembering.

By the by, my other half went to Porty High School, 22 years ago she left, reckons it wasn't fit for purpose then... Keep up the good work!
