I'm sure I'm not the only one. Do you...

    • note how many bikes you see on a journey?

    • note that the age of pavement riding is steadily going up and maybe that drivers are getting younger ?

    • places that are good to park bikes at?
(eg pubs / cafes. Could be a good thread. Best one could be place for a forum meet up).

You're only supposed to notice that policepersons get younger (and shorter)...

Not sure I'd noticed pavement rider age rising (unless you mean from kid to adult).

Seems (mostly) 13-23 (plus increasing numbers like photo in right panel).

Though I have to admit being surprised to see a couple of slightly older women doing it in recent days.

Maybe they have read the reports about women being disproportionately involved in on-road cycle accidents.

Think that's what I mean. People that think the roads are too dangerous.

I count them though as they have a desire to use a bike and could use a bike on a road if they were to get encouragement (training). The shame is that they will actually be noticed and categorised as 'typical'.
