oh, might be persuaded. Where is Stephdo? He's supposed to be organising a coffee/beer shindigg before he leaves.

I might be able to be there this time, and perhaps provide company for others for whom 7.30am means another half an hour in bed!

Can't do Friday but I need to plan something mid-week next week to retrieve my panniers from the Mr Dave. And preferences. I think I don't have any preference (except not Friday).

... till when? I don't think I'm school-running, so could manage along (realistically ~8ish??). Would be an embarrassing first (given proximity of PY to chez RJ)

Just made it to the office, powered not least by a triple shot Americano from PY. A lovely cheery start to a rainy Friday, I'm so impressed and buoyed up by everyone's good humour! By the way here's a link to those sheet 17 plans of Melville Drive. If I looked more than usually gormless it was because I was finding it hard to hear what people were saying - PY is kind of echoey inside.

That was fun - and possibly a speed record <6 degrees of separation (thanks Min/DaveC). Caffeine top-up brewing in front of me ...

  16. No, it's definitely a spoace that kinda sucks some of the voice-noise away, even just across the table.

It's such a nice way to start the day, and you're right cc, everyone is generally on top form and cheery. Pity it all has to end in the office really...

Aww, sorry to hear you're/were poorly. Roibeard, Morningsider, Arellcat(nice to meet you) and myself were in SRD-spotting mode from 9 onwards.

I'm now intrigued about the science of facial recognition, because I didn't know who the man who sat down opposite-but-one from me was, even though moments previously I'd instantly recognised him as Amir. 'Twas grand to talk under less facially-obscured circumstances and with us having enough spare breath for a civilised conversation, Amir.

Anth - jealousy will get you nowhere. I am sure the 'guards on your Sunbeam will be equally lovely.
