Would be good to get some POP leaflets out to parents at Sciennes & Gillespies schools - anyone drop their kids there and willing to hand out a few one morning this week?

I left a few cards @SciennesPS. I'm sure they'd like a poster on their gate nearest to the bike shed.

I can do that easily enough on next week's lazy scumbag halfdays work schedule.
Craiglockhart and South Morningside are pretty much gimmies for me, too.

Imagine if all pupils/parents/staff came from just those four schools - that would be thousands!

@uberuce was hoping Spytfyre would do Craiglockhart; Gavin Corbett has put it out on their parent's email too. Would be great if you could do any/all of the others, but better if a parent could do them!

At Morningside I've got the advantage of being known by around a third of the parents, but yep, parent would be better than furry stranger at the other schools.

I can do sciennes (or rather Alison when she drops tom). Have about 50 postcards from laidback, but might pop in later to see if I can get more.

Nelly - think he's out, or down to emergency supplies of less than 50 at least.

kaputnik - He had returned from his tandem demo, so managed to get another bunch - reckon I have about 60+ which I will split between work bikeshed on monday and Sciennes PS.
chdot, I saw your tweet to @sciennesps - hopefully you will get a response - perhaps something about #pop28 to their parents email list would be useful?
Again, happy to help - if you need another 'in' this week - my wife went to school with the assistant head!

PoP is included in this week's Sciennes Flyer, e-mailed to all parents/carers. Well done someone ...

Not sure who actually sends it. School has quite a few cycling staff - not just teachers.
Sciennes is very 'cycle active' - and has been for 14 years. Started as a result of a parent led Safe Routes project which became more or less permanent whole school project (now with full support from a second head teacher).

The Flyer (newsletter) is sent by the school office - used to come home on paper in school bags, but now electronic.
Agree: Sciennes is v. cycle active - long may it continue.

@RJ "Well done someone ..."
Thanks! (Indirectly). Asked a friend to try and get it in. She's coming too!
