ENews photographer managed to find the least yellow section too. WELL DONE Esme Allen!
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

Is there more in the print version, or is that it? :P
Nice headline though.

No, yes.
Forwarded to the folks in the shot!
Had to laugh at commenter one, 2 cyclists went through a red under Police supervision, on a demo with 3k participants... I wish the cars were that well behaved, there'd be no need for a demo if they were!
As to his other comment, beneath contempt and not worth responding to.
Good to see the EEN slowly drifting away from the rabid anti cycle stance B-)
Here we go: "Yes more needs to be done to improve cycling safety, but I'd start with the cyclists themselves. 3 Recent cycling fatalities. 2 Of which understand to have been the cyclists own fault."
That's it. Until the next one...
Media coverage is not everything. Politicians want to hear from ordinary voters...
I can see a nice opening line for an e-maiul being "I attended Saturday's Pedal on Parliament demonstration, and I am writing to you to ask you to endorse the 8 point manifesto..." or something along those lines.
"Had to laugh at commenter one, 2 cyclists went through a red "
Smudge, the comment is referring to the (rather excellent) vidioe that Anth and Kaputnik put together (available on the POP site) which gave an overview to the route.
The video specifically makes the point about obeying red lights, watching out at zebra crossings etc. It highlights a RLJ (a random 3rd party) as behaviour not to copy.
So in summary the commenter has missed the point by quite a wide margin.
Were there any journalists at the event?
I noticed a woman scribbling in anotebook during the speeches; the guy she was with was weilding a fancy camera.
