As I can't make mornings very easily how about an afternoon in a beer garden/warmer indoor venue to congratulate everyone on a happy day's cycling with so many folk?
I would vote Bennet's bar on Home street for central location, and good steak pie if people needed grub if it happened to be near dinner time

I'm game, just confirm the date and time and I'm there.

I would be worried, very worried, if you could make pub mornings!! :-P
We are talking early evening/night here now, just to clarify... not afternoon or even late afternoon? On a schoolday too?

Well, my afternoons finish at 5 on Friday, so aside from the 4th I can be there by 5.15 or so.

Bennets is nice, as is Cloisters, if it was sunny, Ettrick hotel beer garden is good - and you dont need a lock !

I do enjoy a modest quencher and can make Fridays except 18th when I am making my way to london on the train with my bike to cycle round london for 180 miles.

My work day finishes at midday on a Friday and I can always be persuaded into a pub.

I can't do this week. I'm off up deepest darkest Fife, could likely do any other day.

Can do this week :-), somewhere that we don't need to lock the bikes (ie beer garden) is probably ideal for the lazy like me who can't be bothered locking up bt are paranoid about bikes/bits going walkies....

25th is pulling out in front
also interesting to see the CM option being clicked on too
So would be meet CM at 17.30 for a 18.00 ride, pub after 19.00 probably
Ettrick is nice if weather good but a bit far from town for the rest of the CMers if we can convince them to go to pub of our choice, again there may be a fair portion of them fancy a Leith pub or the Pear Tree I think is popular. Might be a case of getting a mobile number to find out where and when we stop...Posted 12 years ago # -
please not the Peartree, its still too painfull.
