I saw it in another context but it seems very relevant to us and pop.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

And POP wasn't small...
One of my hopes is that because of POP - especially the actually ride - people saw that they were 'not alone'.
They also saw people they had vaguely noticed at the school gate or work or talked to completely random people with interesting things to say.
As a result new alliances, new ideas, new motivations.
Already there are plans for the Harrison Parkers to organise some rides.
Apparently there were big contingents from South Morningside, Craiglockhart and Sciennes schools - perhaps other informal, parent based, groups could develop?
(Other schools and parts of Edinburgh are available.)
