depends if you drive a jag, and try to knock down children ? otherwise none of the afformentioned !not trying to insult anyone except the people who do try to knock down children , no matter what they drive, no matter where they live, no matter what their name !

geographically challenged every day !I was driven about in a car by my parents, i blame them ! I never know where i am going !

Hi Instography. I regularly transmute by bike to Embra from Dunfermline in a sedate sort of way. I share your concerns and, like DaveC, am keen that my own kids can cycle to school without being mown down by luxury cars. I've written to various politicians about cycle infrastructure in Fife - and over the water - over the years, mainly about the NCN1 route to the bridge, and would be interested in comparing notes if you'd like to PM me.

Shame that Gerry McMullen was not re-elected last week, if memory serves.

Update on Bikeability in the Bay.

It seams Mr grumpy & Dangerous has returned to his normal activities. Reversing out of his drive into the path of children on bikes and driving quite fast & cutting up children on the T junction yesterday. I was party to the conversation between Volunteer parent leaders and the school's headmaster. I called my local cycle freindly councillor who came straight round. Reg noted he went off to see the local Police cheif in the Bay.

The head had already voiced his concerns to the police and welcomes our comunity involvement. We're told that its at least carekess driving and a local Officer would be making our concerns clear to the local man.

    Hurray.

I hesitate to mention it but I've updated my increasingly long-winded and going nowhere blog discussing cycling routes in Fife. I think my next step will need to be to take the boy on the proposed route from home to school and video it. Interesting, not least because they propose I cycle illegally on several stretches of pavement.

... I wonder what Fife Constabulary will make of that.

In related news, regarding my correspondence with Thomas Doherty MP, on safe cycle commuting route between FRB and Dunfermline.

TD's secretary confirms that he has had no reply from Fife Constabulary regarding his query on Grange Road fatalities, made several months ago.

No indication made that they would follow up.
