My #edelect prediction, which is certain to be wrong is: Labour 19 SNP 17 Con 13 Lib Dem 5 Green 4
"
Mine is similar (same order, marginally different numbers).

Our polling station is only 0.45 miles away but I got my wife to bike to it, which will hopefully demonstrate that biking the 0.65 miles to her new workplace is similarly easy and at-least-thrice-faster-than-walking. Still no bike racks that I could easily see.

"Scotsman in decent interesting election coverage shock". I was surprised, I have to admit. Worth keeping an eye on their live blog.
BBC Scotland live blog feed here. Quite interesting snippets of gossip being tweeted in.
Also STV Local have an Edinburgh election blog, nit much on there yet but give it time.

Actually the STV Local coverage is good. Well worth checking out the live feed.

From the Scotsman: "10.35am: Labour Lothians MSP Kezia Dugdale says the Greens could be on course for success in Edinburgh. “Strong showing for the greens across the city by the looks of it - key factor in four member wards where Lab/SNP are head to head,” she says. There are currently three Greens in the city, but a few more could help form a ruling Coalition in the city."
Woohoo! I hope so!
Stirling has elected its first ever Green councillor today, Mark Ruskell.

That's great news. He was one of the ablest MSPs to lose out in 2007, is a thoroughly nice chap and a cyclist to boot.

It's amazing how many ways Edinburgh voters have found to spoil ballots.Knots n crosses. Multiple Xs. Anti-trams abuse.

Which, in itself, isn't very interesting unless we know what the messages are!
