Scotrail Cycle Forum - no reports of problems, so hinted that they need not panic about Pedal for Scotland.
Hint that the 'secret' train to Glasgow (via Carstairs with a swap-over for North Berwick train servicing), was VERY popular with around 30 bikes with riders and not many other passengers. Any other reports/on train pics?
A disappointment at meeting - Scotrail decided to hire a tandem and try loading it with non tandem users, concluding that it was 'difficult', rather than having an experienced tandem user available to show the way to do it with the benefit of practice. Pointed out that they surely would not try wheelchair loading/access without inviting a wheelchair user to participate. That said I gather at least one tandem went back by train on 28th.
