How about gathering some Edinburgh bike people, going along to Bute House, and actually handing in the open letter? Maybe with some sympathetic meeja folk in tow/ suitably informed.
Not sure if Wee Eck scans CCE all that often :o)

There's a link on this article to one about the POP event itself, which I thought was a good film summary of the thing, and which I'd not seen before.
