And we thought PoP was good... A couple of friends are riding through South America just now (lucky sods) and are currently in Buenos Aires. They rub it in by sending photos every now and then, and took part in the last Buenos Aires critical mass.... With 5,000 cyclists.... (and apparently a lot more good natured than the London version - they usually live there).

They need it there. The death rate is far higher than here, with most having little idea of safety. Some of the drivers have red ribbons for luck, rather than relying on road rules.
