    @edintravel
    RT @pzedbed: @edintravel Accident at Roseburn Terrace. All traffic eastbound stopped at Murrayfield ave. #edintravel

    Colleague at my work saw it, and said an ambulance had been called. Fingers crossed.

    Do we have a thread for collating road incidents?

    Too many close calls of cars pulling out of side-streets or into the bus lane plus the Haymarket shennanigans) led me to abandon Roseburn Terrace for cycling purposes.

    Hope hope hope all will be as well as can be.

    Oh bollocks not another one! Lets hope they are ok.

    I did wonder as I went past, 2 ambulances, and a number of police cars were in attendance. Roseburn Terrace was open again, but Murrayfield Avenue was still closed at about 9.15 when I went past.

    Hi everyone - that was me lying in the road, enjoying the Edinburgh weather this morning. It was good to have a rest after a hard commute into a headwind.

    Had to go to hospital as I landed quite badly on my neck. Nothing broken, but quite badly bruised all down one side.

    Probably not as bad as all the ambulances and police cars made it look - the reason there were two ambulances was because the first one got a puncture on its way to the scene!

    Thanks for all your concern - hopefully I won't be holding up the traffic like that again any time soon.
