Have started drafting a letter to the new D&G unholy alliance of the SNP & Conservatives. Having looked at their manifesto, the tories fail to mention cycling, active travel, walking or anything other than spending 50 million on more roads, whereas the SNP manifesto was enthusiastically promising to spend Sustrans's money on cycling but none of the council's. So I'm not hopeful but we did get 5 of them out on bikes (mostly Tories, strangely enough) so maybe things will change.

Wait, what? SNP and Conservative? What next? The Buffy Party and Nosferatu Democrats?

Tartan tories wasn't an epithet based on nothing. The SNP has always had two faces - urban labour and a rural tory one.

    Insto,

It's a slogan like many others:

    sally,

You will find a number of Labour/Tory alliances too, possibly more.

I like free education but I don't like wars or vermin in ermine.

Not sure this is the place for that kind of discussion though.
